We’re married, we live in Carmichael, and Radiant Window Care is ours. There’s no office and no crew. When you book us, you get the two of us, and you get the two of us again the next time.
How we got here
We came into window cleaning from general cleaning. Five years of professional cleaning work between us before this, and we’d rather tell you that than pretend we’ve been squeegeeing glass since the nineties.
What that background gave us is a habit of looking closely. Cleaning houses teaches you to notice the corner nobody wipes and the spot that gets missed every single time. That transfers directly to glass, which is unforgiving in a way most surfaces aren’t. A countertop hides a bad job. A window in afternoon light does not.
What we do differently
The same two faces. A lot of window cleaning companies send whoever’s on the schedule. You meet someone new every visit and explain your house again. With us it’s Alex and Molly, and by the second visit we already know which gate sticks and which window has the tricky latch.
We check our work before we leave. The last thing we do on every job is walk back through and look at every window we cleaned. If we find something, we fix it while we’re still there.
We tell you when something can’t be fixed. Glass that’s been sitting under sprinkler spray for years can be etched, and etched glass can’t be cleaned back to clear. You can feel it with your hand. When we find that, we say so and point you to a company that resurfaces glass. We don’t take money for a cleaning that isn’t going to work.
We use the right tool for the height. A water fed pole system when that’s the safer way to reach a second story, a ladder when it isn’t. We’re licensed and insured either way.
We come back. If you’re not happy with a window, tell us and we’ll return and fix it.
The kind of work we like
Repeat customers, mostly. People we see every few months, whose houses we know. Storefronts and offices on a standing schedule. And people getting a house ready to sell, because that’s a job where clean windows make a visible difference in the photos and the walkthrough.
What ties those together is that they’re all jobs where somebody actually looks at the result. We’d rather do that kind of work than volume.
